There was a time when Apple had a reputation for being different from its competitors. Where Google, Microsoft, and Samsung followed an identical approach to attract customers, the tactics used by Apple were off-planet. But things have changed, and now this description barely seems to fit Apple.

With time, the trillion-dollar company has changed severely in terms of everything. Here’s how:

1. Apple is now competing

A few years back, Apple relished living in its parallel universe where the competition was completely non-existent.

Earlier, during the product launch events, Apple would always compare the newer product components with its predecessors. For example, the performance of the newer chipset of an upcoming iPhone was compared only and only to the previous iPhone model. And The same was the case for the camera and battery improvements.

Apple hated mentioning the competition. Be it for the sake of humiliating other companies by comparing them to the superior Apple devices.

The only time Apple mocked the competition was during the 2013 campaign with the motto of ‘Switch to iPhone’. It was by far the most aggressive ad campaign by…
