Thanks for sharing your side of the story. However, I have witnessed otherwise. Back in the day when I studied at a film school, my classmates preferred editing videos on their Mbps, instead of the iMacs in the editing lab. It was only because the Touch Bar offered some shortcuts that made the editing process easier.
I’m assuming that people in the corporate sector hated/didn't care about it, whereas people from the creative field adored it.
