Should You Buy the New Apple Watch Series 7?

The Apple Watch Series 7 was announced in mid-September at an Apple Event, alongside the iPhone 13 series.

The leaks and rumours had made the expectations higher. The squared-off edge design, an upgraded chipset with the functionality to detect the blood sugar level, was rumoured around the internet. But sadly, the real deal was quite a disappointment.

Here is the list of the cons that make the new Apple Watch an avoidable purchase:

1. The +1mm screen size

Apple Watch Series 7 offers two different screen variants — 41mm and 45mm. Unlike its predecessor Series 6, which came in with a 40mm display and a 44mm one.

The +1mm size difference is not a major upgrade from the previous generation, yet Apple, being Apple, chose to make a fuss about it.

Apple announced two new watch faces, exclusively for the Series 7.

  1. Contour Watch Face
  2. Modular Max

The Contour watch face wraps the numerals around the edges of the screen, with a blank space in the centre.

The Modular Max, on the other hand, offers the users to add two wide complications at the top, and…
