According to last year’s survey conducted by a tech magazine, over 40% of iPhone users have set the default browser to third-party apps. That’s about 550 million people missing out on the true potential of Safari.
What’s even worse is that most first-time iPhone users don’t even bother opening Safari in the initial days due to its compass-themed logo which makes it look like some sort of a navigation app.
Safari once had a poor reputation because it allowed users to open only eight tabs at once. However, that is no longer the case. The current version of Safari is significantly better than any of the third-party mobile web browsers out there.
