Apple has finally announced the official date for the 2024 Worldwide Developers’ Conference (WWDC) and I could not be more excited. Scheduled to kick off on June 10, WWDC, as always, will highlight major operating system releases including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11 and visionOS 2.

But everyone, including myself, is eager for the eighteenth birthday of iOS. Finally, the operating system will hit the appropriate age to apply for a driver’s license and sign up for an account on those websites (you know what I’m talking about).

Jokes apart, iOS 18 has been a heavily speculated update of all time, especially after some renowned Apple insiders claimed it to be packed with AI features. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg anticipates that iOS 18 might introduce significant advancements with substantial new features and designs, although precise information remains scarce. According to sources, Apple executives have described iOS 18 as both ambitious and compelling. Gurman suggests that it could potentially represent the most significant software update in the history of the iPhone, introducing a range of new AI features.
