iOS 18 — It’s All About AI on iPhone

Everything you need to know about the AI features coming in the iOS 18 update

Finally, what we all have been waiting for since last two years is finally coming to iOS this year with iOS 18. I cannot be more excited. This feels exactly like when we were first introduced to Siri on an iPhone 4S, two centuries ago.

The iOS 18, as all other major iOS updates, will be announced in the Worldwide Developers’ Conference (WWDC) in June 2024, and will be available for public use in 3–4 months, somewhere in late September and early October along with the announcement of the iPhone 16 Series.

As you can already tell from the title, iOS 18 will majorly emphasise on AI functionality, and in this story, I’ll be covering every AI-related feature coming to the iOS 18.

1. All New AI-Based Siri

The primary focus of iOS 18 appears to be around AI, particularly generative AI, a technology that Apple has been somewhat slower to adopt compared to the recent successes of products like ChatGPT, Bard, CoPilot, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and others.
