Finally iOS 17.5 is officially here for public download after two months of beta testing. I know, I know, at this point a majority of us do not care for an iOS 17.X upgrade since we’re pumped about the announcement of iOS 18 which is scheduled for 10th June.

But as we anticipate the iOS 18, iOS 17.5 is the final major upgrade to the current running iOS before the betas of iOS 18 begin to roll out next month and it is packed with some of the awesome features mentioned below.

iOS 17.5 comes with a warning. Apple warns us to update our iPhones to the latest firmware because it fixes a major security threat.

Now, Apple remains tight-lipped about this major security fix, possibly because they don’t want to give ideas to the cyber attackers. However, there are some other security patches that Apple don’t mind sharing with us.
