Here’s Why Windows Laptops Have Stickers and MacBooks Don’t
The answer might baffle you
Laptop Stickers — usually found in a clutter next to the trackpad of every Windows laptop ever made. Not just these stickers are unappealing to the eyes, but they also ruin the otherwise sleek design of a laptop. As a matter of fact, every sticker does, be it pre-installed or the custom ones. But in this article, I solely intend to focus on the pre-installed stickers by the laptop manufacturers.
We all have used a Windows notebook at least once in our lifetime, and have come across stickers such as ‘Intel Inside’, ‘AMD’ and Windows Logo.
Now, having these stickers on the laptop doesn’t make any sense at all. People buying a laptop are already aware of what they’re getting for the price tag. They have already either researched about the laptop before purchasing, or have been informed by the store employee about its specs.
Moreover, the same information is printed on the laptop’s box. Having it mentioned twice by putting stickers on the laptop is unnecessary logic-wise.
“Hey, it’s just some stickers. Don’t make a fuss about it,” interrupts a Window’s laptop engineer.
Sure, it’s only some stickers, but getting rid of them is as difficult as getting a tattoo removed.
