Here’s Why iPhones Don’t Have These 3 Major Android Features
It’s what makes an iPhone the iPhone
When Android users switch to an iPhone for the first time, they somehow always end up complaining about no longer having access to some of the key features they have been used to. It takes them less than a day to regret their decision and conclude themselves to be the victims of a phenomenon known as ‘feature loss’.
But in reality, iOS developers are aware of what the iPhones are missing, and there is a valid reason behind most of these features not being included. Here’s why iPhones don’t have these 3 Android features:
1. Pattern Locks
When it comes to unlocking a smartphone, Android users have multiple options to choose from. One of them is a pattern unlock. Whereas, there are currently only two ways one can unlock an iPhone — Face ID and numerical pattern.
So, why don’t iPhones have a pattern lock when it has been around for over a decade and a half?
Now, I agree that using a swipe gesture for unlocking is pretty cooler than the boring way of putting digits. But at the same time, I’m also aware that it’s the worst security option to have, especially when the smartphone is worth a thousand bucks.
