It’s no secret that Apple is working on their brand-new VR headset from the last three years, while simultaneously also working on their smart AR wearable — the Apple Glasses.

Now, before you get confused, let me clarify that the Apple VR headset will be significantly different from the Apple Glasses.

The reason being, the VR headset is going to be a standalone device, just like the iPads and MacBooks. But the Apple Glasses, on the other hand, will be a companion device like the Apple Watch which will rely on your primary iPhone.

Design-wise, the VR headset, like all the existing VR headsets in the market, will have a similar build, but only better. It’s Apple, after all. The front panel will be covered with an aluminium frame, and the way it will attach to your heads is by a strap made out of high-quality silicone hybrid.

Mobility and comfort-wise, the Apple Glasses will most likely be your go-to option while travelling or walking down the street, whereas you can only enjoy the VR headset in a room with minimum stumble-worthy obstacles.
