Apple’s master plan is inevitable
Mark Zuckerberg has been vocal about his upcoming metaverse platform, Meta, for a very long time. According to him, Metaverse will play a key role in the evolution of mankind in the digi-era.
To make this vision a reality, Zuckerberg acquired Oculus — a VR headset company — in 2014 for a sum of $2 billion. Oculus (now owned by Facebook) is the only headset that allows access to Facebook’s native Meta.
Now, what exactly is Meta?
Well, it’s a virtual reality space where users from all around the world can meet, interact, play games, attend gatherings, and do everything apart from populating the planet.
Now, the concept of VR isn’t anything new. VR gaming has been around for quite some time. But what makes this Meta special is beyond just gaming.
Zuckerberg’s idea is to create a virtual world where users can have a parallel life and have experiences that they cannot otherwise is simply outstanding. But, where everything is good, there has to be competition. And how can anybody expect the biggest tech giant, Apple, to miss out on such an opportunity?
