It chips off my religious sentiments (towards Apple) whenever I see people using their iPhones in a complicated way. They often take the hard route to do simple tasks on their iPhones when they can just do it by performing certain gestures. iOS engineers have worked hard, after all, to make our lives easier. It’s time we all start using those gestures in our daily lives.
Now, the reason I believe most people miss out on these gestures is because they have switched to iPhones late. The gestures that I’m about to mention have been around for a few years. By the time, these people switched to iPhones, the awareness of the gestures wasn’t there because the previous users were already familiar with it.
Similarly, as new people switch to iPhones each year, someone has to bring back the awareness. Someone has to step out of the shadows and enlighten the masses. And who better than the Evil Geek himself?
