We’re just four months away before Apple disappoints us with its biggest change in the iPhone lineup, the iPhone 17 Air model. Like each year, the Evil Geek has gathered crucial leaks about the upcoming iPhone from trustworthy sources, and just like each time, they’re going to be close to reality if not fully accurate. And that’s what bothers me the most.

The leaks that have been surfacing about the iPhone 17 Air model are scary. In case you don’t already know, some big third-party case manufacturers such as ESR and Spigen receive the CAD files (3D Model concepts) of the upcoming iPhones a few months in advance before their launch. Apple does this to ensure that there is no shortage of supply for the iPhone cases when it’s newly launched.

Now it’s pretty common for these CAD files to get leaked online by the insiders who breach the NDA, and this year is no different. Although I won’t be sharing any of those leaked designs, you can get a good idea from the mockup images I’ve added to this story.

Anyway, coming back to the iPhone 17 Air, these models, as the name suggests, will be significantly slimmer and lighter than our current iPhones. How slimmer you ask — about 5mm thick, or should I say thin?
